Our mission
A school environment students and families can rely on
Too many students fall behind because their school can't offer the course they need, or because they need more time and flexibility than a traditional classroom allows. CGA was built to fix that.
Families choose CGA because they want more than online course access. They want a school team that can help them understand credits, prerequisites, course options, timelines, and next steps.
Every student gets access to a teacher, structured course material, and a clear path to earning their OSSD credit — with pricing shown transparently before checkout.
Flexible timelines
Students work at their own pace within a supported framework — no rigid semester lock-in.
Teacher support included
Every course includes teacher access for marking, feedback, and academic guidance.
Ministry-aligned curriculum
Courses follow Ontario curriculum expectations. Transcripts and report cards issued upon completion.
Transparent pricing
Base tuition is shown before checkout. International students pay a clearly disclosed $200 support and compliance fee per course.
School structure & accountability
Why leadership matters in online high school
Online learning works best when students are supported by clear academic leadership. At CanadianGrad Academy, leadership is responsible for more than operations — it shapes how courses are organized, how students are supported, how progress is monitored, and how families understand the path to graduation.
Strong school leadership helps ensure that students are not left to figure everything out alone. From course selection and onboarding to teacher feedback, assessment expectations, academic integrity, and graduation planning, CGA's leadership team helps create the structure students need to stay accountable and move forward with confidence.
Academic Direction
Students and families need to know which credits matter, which courses come next, and how each course connects to graduation or post-secondary goals.
Teacher Support & Expectations
Leadership helps set expectations for course delivery, assessment, feedback, communication, and student support.
Student Progress Monitoring
Online students need structure. CGA focuses on progress visibility, pacing, completion, and early support when students fall behind.
Parent Confidence
Parents need clear answers. Leadership ensures families can understand requirements, ask questions, and make informed enrollment decisions.
Leadership
The leadership team behind every student experience
Student success in an online school depends on more than access to lessons. It requires academic leadership, student support, clear communication, reliable technology, and organized school operations. CanadianGrad Academy's leadership team brings together education, admissions, strategy, innovation, and technology so families can receive a more reliable and supportive online high school experience.
Each leader plays a role in helping CGA support students from first inquiry to course completion — including onboarding, course planning, parent communication, academic progress, platform reliability, and long-term school improvement.

Principal
Leadership grounded in education, accountability, and student care
CGA's principal leadership matters because online students need more than flexibility — they need structure, expectations, and support. Mariam Siddiqi's education background and school leadership experience help guide how CGA supports students, communicates with families, and maintains a clear academic pathway toward credit completion and graduation planning.
Mariam leads CanadianGrad Academy with a deep commitment to accessible, high-quality education. Her academic background includes a B.A., B.Ed, Masters of Education, and Principal Qualifications — paired with hands-on experience across private schools, public schools, and boarding schools on three continents.
Mariam became a Vice Principal at 24. During the COVID-19 school lockdowns she led her school's transition to remote learning — an experience that shaped CGA's approach to online education: structured, teacher-supported, and built around the student's real life.
As principal, Mariam's role is to connect CGA's academic expectations, student support systems, teacher guidance, and parent communication into one organized school experience.
What this means for families
- Students receive clearer direction on course expectations and completion.
- Parents have a school team they can contact for guidance and support.
- Course planning is connected to OSSD requirements, prerequisites, and graduation goals.
