Starting her leadership journey early, Mariam became a Vice Principal at the remarkable age of 24. During the unprecedented COVID-19 school lockdowns, she played a pivotal role in her school’s swift transition to remote learning. Under her guidance, the school lost only six days of instruction, while other schools in the province faced significant disruptions.
With a diverse career spanning continents, Mariam has enriched educational institutions in England, Canada, and Dubai (within an American school framework). Her extensive experience encompasses private schools, public schools, homeschooling, alternate schooling, and boarding schools, providing a broad perspective on various educational systems.
At the heart of Mariam’s philosophy is a deep commitment to personalizing the educational journey for each student. At the helm of CanadianGrad Academy is our principal, Mariam Sidiqqi, a visionary leader who has, since 2008, been exemplary in her unwavering commitment to academic excellence and student success. With a rich background in education, a certified teacher and principal and a passion for innovative learning, our principal guides our institution with a steady hand and an open heart. She holds three degrees in Education and has vast experience in the field working within government, large non-profits and extensive experience in the Private School and public school systems in Canada and the Middle East. She is champion for inclusive education, ensuring that each student receives personalized attention and support to not only meet but exceed their goals while fostering a collaborative environment for the faculty. Under her leadership, the school has flourished, becoming a beacon of high-quality online education where students are encouraged to think critically, act creatively, and pursue their academic and personal aspirations with confidence.
