Online High School Programs & Courses
Yes, CanadianGrad Academy is fully govt inspected. As an extension of CanadianGrad Academy High School, we have undergone inspection by the Ontario Ministry of Education and have satisfied all requirements for accreditation, granting us the authority to issue Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) credits. These OSSD credits hold the same value as those issued by public schools in Ontario and contribute towards the attainment of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma. All our online high school courses adhere to the Ontario Curriculum standards. Our Ministry BSID# is 668458, ensuring our compliance with Ministry guidelines. You can verify our accreditation status through the provided link.

  4. All the details will be sent through email to your register email id.
Once registered through our website, you gain round-the-clock access to your online course. Simply log in using your username and password to access the learning management system. Progress through interactive lessons and practice quizzes at a pace that suits your learning style. When ready, complete unit evaluations and submit them via the drop box for assessment and feedback from your teacher. All evaluations are submitted online, whether typed out, scanned from paper, or captured via photo of handwritten work—whichever method suits you best. Upon receiving your grade and feedback, you can advance to the next unit. At the course’s midpoint, we’ll mail you a first report card, followed by a final report card upon completion of remaining units and the proctored final exam.
This method of course delivery typically accommodates various learning styles effectively. Students should be driven to succeed, possess basic familiarity with computer applications (such as word processors and web browsers), and demonstrate the capability to work independently. It’s essential to note that an Ontario-trained and certified teacher is assigned to each student, providing support, encouragement, and communication throughout the course. They are dedicated to assisting you in reaching your goals and ensuring your success in the course.
Online learning offers unparalleled flexibility, empowering you to tailor your schedule to suit your needs and complete the course at your own pace. Progress is tracked through assignment completions, discussions, and summative evaluations. With 24/7 access to your course, you can learn from the comfort of your home, anytime and at your preferred pace. Upon completing the minimum required hours, you’re eligible to write the final exam. For instance, dedicating a few hours daily enables you to finish the course in as little as Ten weeks. Alternatively, if you prefer a slower pace, you have up to 12 months to complete the course, ensuring flexibility to accommodate various learning styles and schedules.
Absolutely! Our courses are accessible year-round, allowing you to register and commence at any time that suits you. Particularly during July and August, all new registrations benefit from an expedited completion timeline, with the potential to finish in as little as 21 days. This accelerated option provides a faster route to completion compared to the standard minimum completion period of 30 days during the other 10 months of the year.
Absolutely! You can take all the courses any time.

Yes. You are able to take any course(s) through CanadianGrad Academy, no matter where are you living right now.

Please note that there are no refunds through CanadianGrad Academy. However, students can request in writing to transfer to another available CanadianGrad Academy course within 7 days of their initial registration, provided they have not attempted any of the course evaluations and meet the prerequisites for the desired course.

Many of our courses at CanadianGrad Academy require students to complete a final exam at the conclusion of the course. This exam must be conducted pen-to-paper under the supervision of an approved proctor.

A proctor can be any professional adult willing to oversee and supervise the final exam process, ensuring adherence to all exam procedures. Proctors must not be related to the student and must have access to a printer and scanner.

Students are responsible for entering their proctor’s information, including their professional email address and phone number, into the “Exam” tab of their course at least 3 days before the desired exam date. The listed proctor must confirm their willingness to proctor, and their details will then be forwarded to the teacher for approval. Upon approval, the student and proctor can mutually agree on the exam date, time, and location. The student will input this information into the “Exam” tab, and our system will automatically email a copy of the exam and policy form to the proctor 2 hours before the scheduled time. The approved proctor and student can then proceed with the final exam as arranged. Following completion of the final exam, the proctor must submit a scanned, clearly legible copy of the exam to the teacher. Please note that if a proctor charges a fee for their services, CanadianGrad Academy is not responsible for covering that cost.

Upon course completion, we automatically send a final report copy to the student’s designated day school. For those applying to post-secondary institutions, we offer the option to directly transmit marks to OUAC, OCAS, or the university for mature students.

For students applying via OUAC:

  1. Add CanadianGrad Academy within the Academic Background section of your OUAC account.
  2. When requesting your report card, ensure to check off “undergraduate”.

For mature applicants: Simply provide the admissions email and your student ID with the respective school in the notes of your request.

For students applying to colleges via OCAS: Just provide your OCAS account number (starting with 2100) when requesting your report card.

The primary role of the teacher is that of a facilitator, tasked with supporting all learners to achieve success in the course. Teachers fulfill this responsibility by answering student questions via email, monitoring threaded discussions and chat topics, offering constructive feedback on evaluations, and creating multiple opportunities for students to demonstrate their learning. By providing guidance, encouragement, and assistance as needed, teachers ensure that every student has the support necessary to excel in their studies.

As CanadianGrad Academy is a private institution, students are not required to seek permission from their regular day school or school board to enroll in any of our courses. After successfully completing a course, we will provide you with one copy of the report card, while a second copy will be sent to your day school for transcript integration. Upon request, CanadianGrad Academy can also transmit your marks directly to the Ontario University Application Centre (OUAC) at no additional charge. It’s important to note that all high school credits earned through CanadianGrad Academy hold the same value, irrespective of the delivery method.

Rest assured, there are absolutely no hidden or additional fees at CanadianGrad Academy! All required materials will be provided either as attachments within the lessons (such as worksheets and homework tasks) or accessible through a designated course resource tab (including course texts, practice evaluations, and assessment rubrics). The only requirement for our courses is access to a word processing program, such as Microsoft Word. We believe in transparency and ensuring that students have everything they need to succeed without any unexpected costs.

To access our courses, you’ll need a computer, tablet, or cellphone with high-speed internet connectivity. While our course content is accessible on various devices, it functions optimally on a PC or Mac. We encourage you to review our Privacy Policy for further information.
For courses with tests, students will also require access to a printer to complete their evaluations. Additionally, it’s essential to have Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your device to open assignment and test files. However, there are free software alternatives like LibreOffice that you can download and install on your PC or Mac to fulfill these requirements. We aim to provide flexibility and accessibility to ensure your learning experience is seamless and efficient.
